Where I am asked for my version of a famous piece. Done as the original was. Penciled and inked on two ply-Bristol board. 11 by 17 inches. I do head dress and all the little trimmings. Made to look as much as I can get it to look like the original. I use the same tools in most cases. Brush pen and nibs with India ink.
I have shown the oginigal books here with my black and white recreations of said covers.
